Brin Black is a proven leader and successful sales and marketing professional. Brin began her career in outside sales. In the early years, Brin beat down doors of law firms throughout San Diego, New York City, and most of the Burroughs, peddling legal services to attorneys. Inspired by her outside sales successes, with even the toughest legal critics, Brin was hired by King Pharmaceuticals (and then later Schering Plough) and trained under the best and brightest of the pharmaceutical sales industry. Through these 8 years of rigorous weeks-long training programs and experience, Brin learned the art of messaging, targeting, identifying key audiences, and closing a deal.
Seven years later, as Brin became a wife and mother, a more family-oriented lifestyle became paramount. At that time, Brin was hired as the executive director of Reconnecting Families, a non-profit that aided and educated mothers and families undergoing Drug Court Treatment programs in Cobb County. In this capacity, Brin successfully launched the marketing and governance of the non-profit and exponentially grew its fundraising.
As a full-service sales, marketing, and small business consultant, Brin offers digital and social media guidance and management, as well as branding, strategy, and outside sales support. Brin is only “one call away,” and offers the unique opportunity to hire someone also willing to pound the pavement and sell face-to-face. Brin is persistently learning, growing, and adapting to the lightning speed of the current marketing world by taking classes on new and exciting tools. She is a member of Your Social Team, a members-only social media marketing and branding community, and she is always sharpening her skills in the ever-changing world of sales and marketing.
Most of all, Brin is a wife to her husband Barton and mom to two feisty little girls. In her spare time, Brin can be found practicing yoga, riding horses (her life-long passion), or hiding from a pile of laundry.
