Erika Ekdahl

Account Director
Erika Ekdahl

With over 13 years working within large, national non-profits, Erika understands the many layers of internal and external collaboration required to craft, execute, and steward successful corporate partnerships.

Erika has held director level roles in corporate partnerships and strategy at Reading Is Fundamental, American Red Cross, and SOS Children’s Villages USA. She brings first-hand expertise in corporate strategy, cause marketing, business development, employee engagement and campaign execution.

At RIF, Erika managed the organization’s largest corporate partnership and developed new strategies for employee engagement and grass roots activation support, which resulted in unprecedented partnership growth – from $1.2M to $6.5M in five years.  At the American Red Cross, Erika served as a subject matter expert and trained frontline fundraisers in cause marketing and disaster activation. She also developed partnership strategy for major brands including Target, Nationwide, Kroger, JP Morgan, and U.S. Bank. Most recently, Erika was the Director of Corporate Partnerships at SOS Children’s Villages USA, where she overhauled the new business strategy and developed a new thematic approach to more closely align with corporate interests.

Having started her career with Teach for America, Erika has also worked in PR supporting non-profit accounts at Edelman in Washington, DC where she gained a keen understanding of corporate expectations, authentic storytelling, and brand positioning.

Erika has worked with a variety of industry verticals and brings a pragmatic approach to consulting. At For Momentum, she has supported the framing strategy, corporate recognition, new business and partnership development for many of our top clients.
