Katie Kissel is a sales, marketing, and outreach specialist who in addition to working for For Momentum is working to make a difference in her community. Her professional background consists of almost a decade of account and product management in the food ingredient industry. She has worked with both large and small scale organizations to increase sales, develop and optimize supply chain efficiencies, and implement sales and outreach processes. At For Momentum Katie has provided value by bringing her sales and CRM expertise to optimize our outreach processes and to add her unique perspective on how to best connect with companies on behalf our clients.
A resident of Atlanta since 2012, Katie is the president of the Kirkwood Neighbors Organization (KNO). She is a proud public school advocate (and parent of two small children) and a founding member of Atlanta’s Chapter of Integrated Schools, a grassroots movement to encourage parents (particularly white, privileged parents) to enroll their children in integrated schools. Her activism most recently led to an invitation to join the board of HEY! (Helping Empower Youth) where she organizes and advocates for Atlanta’s youth, primarily those selling water on street corners.
Originally from Indiana, Katie holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with majors in entrepreneurship and marketing and a minor in art. She looks forward to putting her real world non profit and sales experience to work on behalf of your organization.
