Loren Coleman has more than two decades of integrated communications experience working across the corporate and nonprofit sectors. As a senior leader, she has helped Fortune 500 companies, startups, nonprofits, and foundations fuel their missions, brands and business goals.
After spending the first part of her career with global PR agencies and collaborating on award-winning campaigns for companies such as Unilever, J.M. Smucker and Pernod Ricard, Loren pivoted to pursue mission-driven work. She brings her expertise in support of nonprofit organizations, as both a communications lead and consultant.
Loren combines her corporate experience in consumer-packaged goods, consumer health and health tech with her cause work across a range of social issues. These causes include: education equity, women’s and children’s health and well-being, food access, animal welfare and diversity in entrepreneurship. Her depth of experience helps companies, foundations and nonprofits maximize their social impact.
As head of marketing and communications for Action for Healthy Kids, she led brand repositioning and development, fostered key corporate partnerships, spearheaded consumer engagement campaigns and helped steward the organization through a strategic shift during the pandemic.
Later, Loren helped launch Libra Philanthropies, a global private foundation, where she supported marketing communications for nonprofits founded by Libra Group. Clients included: Seleni Institute, a maternal mental health treatment and training center; Founder Forward, an entrepreneurship-support organization focused on underserved BIPOC founders; and We Lead, a nonprofit supporting women leaders in tech and business in Greece.
Loren’s capabilities also include thought leadership, content strategy and creation, employee engagement and events. Her work with For Momentum includes the Humane Society of the United States, Wounded Warrior Project and Coca-Cola.
