
Loren Coleman is a mission-driven communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in brand building, integrated marketing communications, public relations, and nonprofit marketing and leadership. She combines her corporate experience in consumer packaged goods, consumer health and health tech with her cause work across a range of social issues – from women’s and children’s health to food access to education and health equity – to help brands and nonprofits work together to drive social impact.
As head of marketing and communications for the national nonprofit Action for Healthy Kids, Loren led the organization’s rebranding and was an integral member of the executive leadership team, helping to foster key corporate partnerships, lead consumer engagement campaigns, and steward the organization through a strategic shift during the pandemic. Throughout her career with global PR agencies, Loren collaborated on award-winning campaigns and major product launches for Fortune 500 household brands while also raising awareness for multiple causes, including hosting the first-ever salad fashion show with Wish-Bone Salad Dressing to benefit hunger charities; changing conversations around food systems with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation; fostering dialogue among Black women about skin and beauty with Vaseline to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America; raising awareness of Amazon deforestation with Tropicana and Cool Earth; and educating the public on GMOs and cloning through Ben & Jerry’s Truth or Cone-sequenses campaign.
