Stacey Goldberg has over twenty years of experience working inside nonprofit organizations and as an external advisor. She has counseled hundreds of nonprofits securing millions of dollars in corporate funding in her career. Early in her career, Stacey ran the Chicagoland Walk for Diabetes (now called Step Up: Walk to Stop Diabetes). She was responsible for managing all aspects of the peer-to-peer event including logistics, volunteer development, individual and team fundraising and local and national corporate sponsorships. Stacey then held development positions with the American Diabetes Association and the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago.
Before joining For Momentum, Stacey served as Managing Director of ESP Properties overseeing the consulting division (formally IEG LLC). She also led consulting engagements developing strategies that increased revenue for ESP Properties’ clients while maximizing return for their corporate partners. As a consultant with For Momentum, Stacey’s clients have included Communities in Schools, Donors Choose, Humane Society of the US, the Obama Foundation, Meals on Wheels, National Kidney Foundation, Rebuilding Together, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and more.
Not only has she helped these organizations secure additional corporate revenue, Stacey has created sustainable corporate partnership strategies, go-to-market campaigns and developed long-lasting trusted advisor relationships. Stacey’s career has been highlighted by rapid advancement and consistent achievement in client and project management. She has a wealth of experience with peer-to-peer fundraising as well. From her previous work and client roster, Stacey has a unique understanding of the dynamics between the national headquarters and local field offices of a nonprofit. This experience not only helps her relate to her clients but also helps them avoid common pitfalls on the road to success. Stacey creates strategies and implements plans that ensure all parties—local, national organization and corporate partners—win.
