Before joining For Momentum as a cause marketing consultant, Tamara McClelland spent more than 25 years in marketing and communications at agency, corporate and nonprofit institutions. At agencies such as Frankel & Co. and Carlson Marketing Group, Tamara designed and implemented integrated marketing programs including sponsorships, loyalty programs and special events. She has extensive corporate marketing experience for some of America’s most well-known brands including Lexus, Ford, Pizza Hut, Northwest Airlines and Mitsubishi Electronics.As Director of Marketing Programs for Midwest Airlines, Tamara steered all aspects of marketing and communications including corporate philanthropy. She managed the airline’s marcomm creative team and led advertising, investor and community relations, internal communications, market research and customer satisfaction initiatives.
As Vice President of Marketing for US Bank, Tamara designed and implemented marketing programs for branches and banking departments in the Midwest Region.
Complementing her corporate experience, Tamara has worked closely with many respected nonprofits such as Habitat for Humanity, National Parks Association and United Way. She also served as Development Manager at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, where she secured corporate sponsorships with leading brands such as Target and Arby’s. In addition to consulting with clients on their cause marketing initiatives, Tamara oversees For Momentum’s long-term strategic planning. She has led account teams for YMCA of the USA, Church World Service, WomenHeart, World Wildlife Fund and Alzheimer’s Association.
