Tara Olivier

Tara Olivier brings over 15 years of experience in corporate social responsibility (CSR), cause marketing, and nonprofit fundraising, working with leading brands and global nonprofits to create high-impact partnerships. Her passion lies in building initiatives that deliver shared value—driving positive outcomes for both business and society.

Tara’s expertise spans strategic philanthropy, employee engagement, public-private partnerships, retail activation, and CSR communications. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations define their purpose and create meaningful change on the social issues that matter most to their stakeholders.

At U.S. Bank, Tara played a pivotal role in developing the organization’s first enterprise-wide philanthropy platform called Community Possible, aligning $53 million in foundation and corporate giving under a cohesive CSR strategy. At T-Mobile, she led the launch of the organization’s first employee engagement program focused on after-school support, activating over 15,000 employees through more than 50 community events nationwide. She also created and helped execute several successful cause marketing programs for General Mills brands—including Yoplait, Betty Crocker, Bisquick, and Pillsbury—designed to drive sales, engage retail partners, and build brand equity among mothers.

Tara spent 11 years at Cone Communications, where she held a variety of leadership roles and managed award-winning campaigns for clients such as SunTrust Bank, Ann Taylor, NARS Cosmetics, Best Friends Animal Society, American Cancer Society, Starbucks, and Walmart. Earlier in her career, she worked at a Boston-based public relations firm supporting nonprofit and government clients on community awareness initiatives. She also worked at the Massachusetts State House serving under the House Clerk.

In addition to her professional work, Tara is actively involved in the nonprofit community, volunteering her time and offering pro bono counsel on fundraising strategies to local organizations.
