For Momentum Sales & Marketing Director
As a result of continuing growth and market success, For Momentum is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Director to lead efforts for the agency. The position will develop and promote the agency’s position as a thought leader, inform For Momentum’s marketing strategies, lead development of all content, and support new business development. Candidates must have an understanding of the B2B or agency environment. For Momentum is looking for a strong strategist and writer who has demonstrated success marketing business services. A successful candidate will also have a passion for learning and staying current on the cause marketing landscape and use this knowledge to further position and promote For Momentum as the leading agency in the space. Background working in the Cause Marketing/Cause Alliance/Social Impact field on behalf of an agency, company or national nonprofit is required. Key areas of responsibility will include agency positioning, communication strategy development, sales and marketing materials development, new business support and event strategy, as well as, a high-degree of communication with both internal and external stakeholders. The Sales & Marketing Director will also serve as the day-to-day manager of one direct report who will assist with agency promotion and growth.
A nationally recognized leader in Strategic Cause Alliances, For Momentum is a virtual organization with a headquarters office in the perimeter area of Atlanta, GA. While the ideal candidate will be based in Atlanta, the company offers flexibility for individuals to independently operate from a home office.

Primary Duties
Agency Planning, Messaging and Positioning
- Works with senior leadership team to develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans for the agency.
- Stays current on industry trends, competitors and overall marketing communication best practices in order to recommend and execute new and effective marketing communication programs, as well as contribute to product development.
- Strategy and implementation of annual primary research.
Communication
- Leads the conception, creation, promotion and measurement of sales and marketing communication strategies, campaigns, dashboards and content, working with various internal teams and external third-party resources.
- Oversees and develops marketing communication content assets including but not limited to key messages/talking points, blogs, trends reports, digital marketing (website, emails, social media), ads, press releases, and direct mail.
- Oversees the daily activity of the agency’s social media accounts and active blog.
- Analyzes marketing communication results and provides meaningful metrics to senior leadership.
Sales and Marketing Materials
- Defines strategy and oversees development of sales and marketing materials including but not limited to key messages/talking points, collateral, templates, agency capabilities presentations, case studies and videos.
- Responsible for leading the development and roll out of new assets for internal and external audiences as assigned and oversee maintenance of cause marketing tools. (ex: toolkits, fact sheets, etc.)
- Provides direction and oversight of Sales & Marketing Manager.
New Business Support
- Works closely with senior leadership to ensure new business opportunities are properly evaluated and addressed.
- Oversees development of new business presentations, proposals and RFP responses with assistance from Sales & Marketing Manager
- Works with leadership on executing value-add strategies for increased client satisfaction and prospect engagement.
Events
- Manages speaker’s bureau program and submits proposals on behalf of agency leadership. Leads presentation development for secured opportunities.
- Leads the planning and execution of all marketing events including but not limited to tradeshows, webinars, partner events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements.
