Client Feature: National 4-H Council
OVERVIEW
The National 4-H Council (4-H) is the nation’s largest youth organization, serving more than six million youth every year from every county and parish in the U.S. Their goal is to provide all youth with access to diverse activities and experiences to help develop the skills they need to thrive in work and life. For more than 100 years, 4-H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving kids a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better. 4-H engaged For Momentum to grow its cause marketing partnerships and increase the engagement of existing partners.
STRATEGY AND ACTIONS
For Momentum initiated our work with 4-H by conducting a comprehensive analysis. Leveraging this assessment, we crafted initial strategic recommendations for new positioning concepts and outreach strategies.
For Momentum recognizes that successful partnerships today require more than simple alignment; companies seek demonstrably impactful collaborations. With that in mind, we constructed a compelling partnership narrative for each identified issues space, emphasizing the core value proposition of 4-H’s important work.
Following the establishment of issue areas and positioning, the team undertook a revision of 4-H’s sales materials, including the creation of a customizable pitch deck and one-pagers. Concurrent to this work, we created the first of four targeted prospect pipelines aligned with the newly developed position strategy. For Momentum implemented outreach, provided pitch support for initial prospect meetings and moves management support post-meeting. We remained agile and used key learnings from each round to adjustment for optimal success. Simultaneously to outreach efforts, For Momentum also provided strategic counsel to 4-H staff on an ongoing basis.
RESULTS
Our work resulted in outreach to over 170 companies and exploratory meetings with 35+ companies.
