The National Multiple Sclerosis Society (National MS Society) is the United States’ leading nonprofit organization dedicated to curing MS while empowering people affected by MS to live their best lives. To fulfill this mission, the Society funds cutting-edge research, drives change through advocacy, facilitates professional education, collaborates with MS organizations around the world and provides programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move forward with their lives. The National MS Society is dedicated to achieving a world free of MS.
National MS Society invited For Momentum to develop a corporate partner toolkit including all elements a partner needs to activate a partnership with the National MS Society, with the goal of expanding and diversifying its portfolio of corporate partners.
Strategy & ACTIONS
Building upon For Momentum’s previous strategic work with the National MS Society which included researching internal (assets, stakeholders, programs) and external (competitors, cause space, trends in CSR priorities) factors, we developed four corporate partner concepts for consideration. Our recommendations focused on educating the target audience about MS and the Society, signaling urgency, inspiring action and providing a clear call-to-action. The final decision was MS Ends With Us, a bold and inviting rallying cry for broad awareness and support.
RESULTS
For Momentum developed a corporate partner toolkit including all elements a partner needs to spread the word with employees and consumers through print, web, email and social media channels. Further, the toolkit provided best practices and education on cause marketing, employee engagement and campaign planning and measurement.
