Rapidly growing national cause marketing agency For Momentum seeks a smart, multi-skilled account executive to play a key role on a variety of client accounts.
Position: Account Executive (Part time, Freelance/Contract)
Required Experience: 6+ years of direct work experience
Background Preferences: Experience working as part of a nonprofit’s Development team; (corporate partnership experience, a plus) and/or with a corporation’s Philanthropy/ Marketing/Communications team; or a Marketing/Communications agency (cause marketing experience, a plus)
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
Reports To: Vice President
Management Responsibility: No
Required Skills
- Ability to conduct primary and secondary research (primarily online) to effectively and efficiently uncover information relevant to clients’ needs; ability to analyze findings to determine critical insights and implications that inform recommended strategies.
- Ability to express ideas and recommendations effectively and persuasively through written and oral communication especially PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task with proven ability to take ownership of, effectively organize, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Project management capabilities including demonstrated ability to develop and proactively manage timelines, project priorities and budgets
- Manages daily priorities effectively: responds immediately and effectively to short-term requests and changing priorities.
- Engages directly with clients via calls, meetings and email
- Strong skills re: Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding re: CRM platforms (Salesforce experience, a plus)
- Possess good listening skills
- Ability to serve as a point of contact between agency and client.
- Is resourceful in getting the support needed to respond to Clients’ requests for strategic guidance
- Coordinates information with other For Momentum teammates including Account Supervisor and Account Admin.
Client Results
- Required to develop written materials such as, bios, memos, agendas, proposal drafts, etc.
- Handles meeting logistics; manages expenses, vendor communication, etc., as needed
- Assists in writing, editing and proof-reading: client proposals, presentations, sales materials, case studies, blogs, client communication, etc.
- Responsible for high-quality material
