TEN INSIGHTS ON THE STATE OF CORPORATE PHILANTHROPY

Interesting update on the Council on Foundations ongoing research initiative “designed to set a new agenda and equip the field with tools to transform corporate philanthropy in practice and as a profession”. I like that the Council is laying it on the table with one of the questions, “how can it (CP) have a greater impact on society and on a business’s bottom line?” So that the focus remains in the neighborhood of mutually beneficial, which is where I live by the way!

THE BUSINESS OF GIVING

This link will take you to Social Cast’s infographic detailing the business of giving – click on the image to enlarge. This was posted in June so it is not the most ‘of-the-moment’ info (contrary to what I usually include in twINFO of course) but, it is an easy-to-read, aesthetically pleasing illustration of corporate giving. Nice pictures and small words – what more could you ask for!

Very very long (yes this is my way of admitting I did not read the entire thing- YET) “how-to guide” on creating, and the importance of, shared value in corporations. While all the information may not apply directly to cause marketing there are some obvious and important overlaps.
