Memorial Day weekend signals the beginning of summer for many people – barbeques, neighborhood pools opening, time spent outdoors with family and friends. For me, nothing says summer like the Engage for Good Conference. It’s the perfect time of year to head to Chicago and see old friends, meet new ones and celebrate the best in the business. Like all of you, I especially look forward each year to the Halo Awards Luncheon and hearing the fabulous presentations. What a way to jump-start summer –two days of continuous social impact learning!
For Momentum is excited to support the Engage for Good Conference as a Premiere Sponsor this year. Drop by our booth at the entrance of the main ballroom and meet the FM Team. You literally can’t miss us! We will be exhibiting our hot off the press 2019 Sales Cycle Partnership Research at our Thursday breakout session and at our booth. We would love to chat with you and share our insights from many of the top nonprofit sales leaders in the country.
A fun addition to this year’s conference is the Lunch and Learn discussions. Be sure to join FM Vice President Michele Egan who will be leading the Disaster Giving pre-conference Lunch & Learn discussion from 11:30 – 12:45 on Wednesday. Learn how companies and causes can more effectively prepare for and react to disasters. Enjoy a box lunch and make connections with attendees who share your interest in this topic, before the conference even begins.
For Momentum President and Founder, Mollye Rhea, will be leading a general Breakout Session from 10:15 -11:15 on Thursday, where she will be revealing our 2019 Nonprofit Partnership Sales Cycle Research in an in-depth session titled: Negotiation Tips and Tactics – Getting to “Yes” (internally and with partners!).Shhh, don’t tell anyone, but selling social impact partnerships – whether to internal stakeholders or external partners – has little to do with pricing and everything to do with collaboration and timing. Leveraging fresh data and proven best practices, Mollye will be sharing deep insights from both nonprofit and corporate sales experts on creating lasting, desirable partnerships. She will lead a discussion with Fashion Institute of Technology Foundation’s Philips McCarty, CARE’s Brittney Gove and Caesar’s Entertainment’s Gwen Migita to help you polish your sales approach – from securing internal buy-in through negotiating a successful activation.
We hope you will stop by our booth in the exhibit hall for a sneak peek of our New 2019 Sales Cycle research and have the chance to participate in a fun cause activation to help multiply good right at the conference. See you in Chicago!
