Dress for Success: Your Hour Her Power
Dress for Success’ annual Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day campaign, Your Hour, Her Power, is inspired by the belief that when a woman has access to opportunities that can change her life, she becomes powerful beyond measure. Here’s how the campaign works:
- Your Hour, Her Power recognizes groundbreaking female leaders who play a pivotal role in driving corporate and economic gains and social and cultural change
- The Campaign is amplified by Oprah Daily and sponsored by over 25 sponsors and 50 partners
- People are asked to make donations equal to one hour of their pay
- Dress for Success supports women through access to programs, services and tools for economic advancement
CARE’s IWD Campaign: #WomenKnowHow
This International Women’s Day, CARE is partnering with P&G to show everyone #WomenKnowHow to make the world a better place. The campaign features:
- Fearless leaders, future entrepreneurs and feminist changemakers who have overcome obstacles on their road to success
- Creative media moments, including celebrity engagement and social media toolkits
- Opportunities for people around the world to invest in women and girls
Fossil x World Pulse
In honor of International Women’s Day, accessories brand Fossil partnered with Cedella Marley to create an exclusive four-piece Fossil capsule collection honoring her father Bob Marley and his song, “One Love.”
- 25% of proceeds were donated to World Pulse, which uses technology and social networking to empower females globally
- A $10,000 donation from Fossil to the Bob and Rita Marley Foundation supported the Jamaica Women’s National Football Program
Casetify
Casetify launched a collection of phone cases called Her Impact Matters. A percentage of each purchase was donated to Equality Now, a charity fighting to secure equal rights under the law.
Every design is:
- Created by a female illustrator or artist
- Intended to show support for gender equality
- Promoted to new audience pools through the creators
Fabletics
The activewear brand Fabletics has always been about inclusivity and showing real people wearing their products. For International Women’s Day, they stayed true to their values by empowering real women to share their own words of affirmation. The campaign included:
- Posting user-generated affirmations to Fabletics Instagram Stories
- Recognizing and appreciating women with real stories
- Partnering with the Girl Up movement to uplift girls and position them to be leaders
